Pelican’s Rock, an area bustling with a dizzying array of sealife, is within the protected confines of Cabo San Lucas Marine Preserve, just a quick sail from the Marina Cabo San Lucas. Because the aquatic sanctuary is so close to the downtown marina, passengers can spend even more time in the water snorkeling. Although the trip out to the Pelican’s Rock is a wonderful sight-seeing adventure unto itself, including opportunities to see Land’s End, the Cabo Arch and the Sea Lion Colony. The short commute to Pelican’s Rock also gives vacationers with a busy schedule the chance to squeeze in some snorkeling at this top-notch dive spot.

And what a fabulous dive spot it is – the waters off Pelican’s Rock are home to the most diverse spectrum of exotic marine species that can be found in one place around Cabo. You will be astounded by the exquisite formations of gorgonian coral. Amidst these breathtaking waters you may see: parrot fish, porcupine-fish, puffer fish, snapper, clown fish and goat fish . You may even spot sea lions or the gentle giant of the oceans, the whale shark.
