Sailing aboard our forty-four foot ketcht, the Yael, is the perfect way to see the amazing coastal panoramas along the shores of the Sea of Cortez. The thirty-minute cruise aboard the Yael gives you the opportunity to unwind, sample appetizers, enjoy a frosty cocktail, and catch some rays while travelling to snorkel at Bahia Santa Maria (St. Mary’s Bay). Bahia Santa Maria is a gorgeous cove sheltered from the turbulent waters of the Sea of Cortez. Bahia Santa Maria, an officially established aquatic reserve, has surprisingly transparent water due to the protected geography of the cove.

And what an amazing destination for snorkeling – Santa Maria Cove has a mind-boggling spectrum of tropical fish, including parrot-fish, box puffer fish, porcupine-fish, colorful clown fish, snappers, and gliding eagle rays. You could even see a reef shark, octopus, or marine turtle. In the wintertime, you could even spot a Gray Whale breaching the water’s surface. These mammoth mammals make their way down from the bone-chilling Alaskan waters annually to breed and spawn. You may even see a mother and her newborn calf.

Our friendly staff will make sure your private charter is both safe and enjoyable. The Yael, an American-made Staysail Ketch, is appointed with a galley, restroom, and spacious sitting room. Spread out and catch some sun on the spacious deck while listening to your favorite music. The advanced on-board sound system can hook-up to any personal music player.
